FAQ & usage tipps
Here you can find useful information and links for using the hall.
What is TRAP?
TRAP is a collective that runs a huge and incredibly beautiful multi purpose hall in Simmering, Vienna. We are a part of the SchloR project and are self-organized and strictly non-profit. Here can learn more about us and the team: Follow this link
How can I book?
TRAP has three spaces with different ceiling heights that can be booked exclusively or be shared with others during open training times.
Book exclusively
You can book a part of the hall exclusively for your training session or for workshops or other uses, where you need the space to yourself. The following rooms can be booked:
- Full hall
- Half hall
- Studio
- Gallery
You can either book hourly, for half a day or for a full day. Please mind that there are different prices for weekends and weekdays.

Open Training Pass
If you own a daily, weekly, monthly or yearly open training pass you can use the hall freely for your trainings together with others. From Monday to Friday, 8.00am – 2pm, we guarantee a space for open training, exceptions may occur very few times a year; this will be communicated to the users at least three months in advance!
All other times with free slots are open to free training, too; they might be booked exclusively and thus blocked on short notice though.
People who enter TRAP for open training have to sign into a attendance form in the entrance hall with their names as well as arrival and departure time. If users aren’t registered, there will be consequences!

Where can I store my stuff?
IMPORTANT! You can only store your props between your trainings if you are a holder of a yearly open training pass!
Please label your stuff with your name and the expiry date of your open training pass, we will dispose of stuff that expired. We cannot accept any liability for the store props, so store them safely. In order to be informed about big events and other things that may interfere with your props, please join our information channel on signal: Follow this link.
Can I park my car?
Unfortunately there is no parking at the hall. You can drive directly to the entrance to load / unload, but have to park your car elsewhere. During the week all parking in the area is paid, so parking will be up to 10€ / day if you use a nearby parking garage or 2,60€ per hour if you use the short-term parking next to the street (where usually is space). On weekends parking is free.
